Please find our guidelines below.

 

Genre: Poetry or Prose.

 

Entries: $3 Fee. One (1) piece of original unpublished poetry or prose (per person).

 

Character Count: Strictly 300. This includes spaces, your name, and title.

 

Format: Please look at past issues to get a sense of “fit.” For readability, try to keep your font size at 48-point. Of course, font sizes vary depending on typography, length of lines, and design elements. If your piece is selected, the Press Curators will work with you and a designer on formatting and overall look before your piece goes to press.

 

Submission Instructions: Please send your submissions using the form below. Your file name should include “Contest Submission,” followed by the title of your piece. Word.doc or .docx formats accepted. Additionally, please include your first and last name, email address, and the date of your submission.

PLEASE DO NOT INCLUDE YOUR NAME IN THE BODY OF YOUR WORD DOCUMENT ATTACHMENT OR AS PART OF THE ATTACHMENT FILE NAME.

 

Anything Else?: Three contest winners will be chosen for both the Fall and Spring Issues. Winners receive two complimentary shirts featuring their work screen printed by hand, $75 for their selected submission, and 10% of t-shirt sales featuring their work.
